Responsibility


  • to proactively mitigate HR operational risk aligned to our risk appetite
  • location: Birstall, UK
  • be a trusted partner to the business, providing coaching and feedback to managers and colleagues
  • day Rate: £400 per day
  • contract: 3 months
  • support the implementation of people strategies that directly support the achievement of People team KPI’s and the wider business KPIs
  • working to agreed KPI's such as absence management and colleague turnover; suggesting mechanisms to improve in these areas
  • partnering with managers to craft a learning culture, to develop future capabilities, talent management and succession planning
  • guide and influence line managers to ensure fairness and consistency in decision making
  • ensure the company is kept up to date and informed of any upcoming relevant changes in legislation
  • provide HR Business Support to all areas of the organisation
  • work with department leaders to aid continuous improvement, motivation and employee engagement
  • provide expert advice and guidance on the application of HR policies. best practice, employment law and IR
  • develop and maintain excellent relationships with union representatives to foster positive culture, ensure issues are managed effectively and ensure business objectives are delivered
