Requirements


  • proven experience working as a HR Manager
  • extensive experience in a HR role including, TUPE, HR policies and Procedures
  • self-motivated and enthusiastic with the drive to pilot an effective HR department
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • people focused with the ability to communicate and build relationships with all stakeholders
  • payroll experience would be advantageous
  • ability to create, develop and lead strong HR strategies
  • excellent attention to detail
  • in depth HR knowledge including systems, labour law, best practises etc
  • extensive experience in People & Culture including experience leading a team and/or function
  • bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • global HR Manager required to work for a Global organisation based in Europe
  • circa 10 years of experience in people and culture management, including experience working in a global organisation
  • however, this is a remote role with some European travel involved
  • knowledge and understanding of, and preferably experience in, a professional services environment
  • we need someone who understands people, culture and Employment Law from Belgium and the Netherlands
  • demonstrated experience in developing and implementing people and culture strategies and programs that align with business objectives
  • strong knowledge of global employment laws and regulations, including experience in managing employment-related legal matters
  • this would be determined by the impact you make and the influence you have on the overall HR strategy
  • excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leadership teams

Responsibility


  • working closely with the directors and line managers to provide effective coaching
  • prepare offer letters, contracts of employment and onboarding of new starters including right to work checks
  • reviewing and developing HR strategies to align with business objectives
  • ensuring Policies and Procedures are kept up to date, compliant with current employment law and are applied across the business
  • overseeing and managing all employee relations by addressing demands and grievances
  • advise, coach and guide managers on all aspects of employee relations
  • managing the full employee lifecycle inclusive of recruitment, retention, new starters etc
  • investigate employee conflicts and bring to resolution
  • analysing data to develop the recruitment strategy in order to source the best talent
  • monitor that changes to employee contracts are managed in a timely way e.g. the timely production of variation letters, updating HR information systems, informing payroll of changes etc
  • act as the first point of contact for employees and managers
  • provide regular HR data to the Head of People as required
