  • experience working within a People Leadership role within a 24/7 service industry, with more than 1000 frontline team
  • ability to communicate effectively and influence with impact, both written and verbally
  • A seasoned HR Generalist with strength in strategic business partnering with leadership teams, and experience delivering change-making solutions
  • demonstrable appetite to roll up sleeves and achieve in a focused way, whilst keeping an eye on a bigger vision
  • passionate about people and making a difference in the employee experience
  • high levels of organisation, with strong planning skills and the ability to prioritise within the backdrop of ever-changing business needs
  • sound knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment law and HR best practice
  • CIPD qualification strongly desired
  • 2 years experience in a Human Resources position
  • CIPD level 3 qualification
  • previous experience managing payroll on Sage
  • excellent communication skills

  • oversee the effective delivery of HR operational activities
  • develop a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract, select and retain top talent across the organisation
  • design and implement L&D programs that foster employee growth and drive engagement

  • the Deputy Chief People Officer is a pivotal member of the senior People Directorate, leads the organisations approach to human resources and plays a key role in leading the delivery of Sirona’s people strategy
  • monitoring inboxes, phone calls and day-to-day queries, escalating where appropriate. This includes responding to incoming reference requests for employees
  • working with HR Team to ensure all roles are advertised and feeding back on success of campaigns
  • ensure all e-learning modules are sent to staff as per the agreed time frames, monitoring completion and follow up accordingly
  • manage pre-employment checks through an online portal, monitoring daily to ensure completion in line with agreed time frames
  • organise and support in arranging inductions, ensuring all communication is sent to staff in a timely manner
  • monitor the HR email inbox and respond to queries; monitoring issues and escalating patterns
  • support the HR Team in drafting paperwork including probation confirmation and resignation acceptance letters, among others, for review
  • liaising with Managers on any recruitment needs, developing job descriptions and advertising on the appropriate avenues, and managing the offer process
  • ensuring that the company is recruiting top-level employees by using effective screening and interviewing techniques
