  • as Sous Chef, you will ideally have a background in high-end kitchens and be looking to move to one of the best kitchens

  • competitive Base Salary: From £32,000, reflecting your expertise and commitment
  • generous Gratuities: Enjoy a share of gratuities, approximately £5,500 per annum, adding a delightful National Insurance exempt to your monthly earnings
  • 2 years of high-volume kitchen experience preferred
  • must have a previous solid 2 Rosette or Michelin Background
  • culinary degree preferred
  • be able to cover the head chef on their days off
  • must be able to follow direction and work under pressure
  • creative with helping plan menus
  • be very organized and methodical
  • teaching junior chefs to prep and follow to the company’s standards
  • an understanding of HACCP from ordering, delivery checks, temperature recording and general management duties required for such a position
  • own transport is essential due to the location
  • candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK

  • along with over 40 beautifully designed bedrooms, the hotel is also home to an elegant a 2AA Rosette restaurant and they are looking for a Sous Chef to work within their talented kitchen brigade to produce a very high level of cuisine which is all sourced locally and only the best ingredients used
  • the restaurant serves up to 80 covers per service within an elegant dining room and the food is modern British with traditional classics
  • understands essential paperwork on reporting wastage, deliveries, temperatures and ensures these are recorded accurately
  • maintaining Standards: Ensure a seamless handover of responsibilities, maintaining the highest standards during each shift
  • leadership and Motivation: Demonstrate your proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional results
  • safety and Compliance: Utilise your working knowledge of health and safety procedures to uphold compliance and ensure a secure kitchen environment
