Responsibility


  • ensure the pastry kitchen keep to highs level cleanliness and products are store and labelled appropriately
  • to assist the smooth and highly effective performance of the pastry department through professional planning, compliance, management, and administration of all operational activities in line with EHO, budgets and the wider company strategy
  • ensure all cleaning schedules and pest control coverage measures are in place and trained to the team
  • ensure all the food sent from kitchen is of the highest standards
  • shift consist mainly Monday-Friday

  • we are looking for a senior Pastry Chef with experience within high volume, and high skill-set
  • needing someone who is comfortable with menu design, menu spec, great organisation, and management skills
  • looking for a candidate who doesn't mind working on their own. This could suit a Senior Sous Chef or a Head Chef looking to take a step back for a better work-life-balance
  • coordinating with other chefs to streamline operations and maintain overall kitchen
  • as a Pastry Sous Chef you will be part of a large team of over 90 Chefs, and involved in working across all areas of the site, supporting the Sous Chef's & Head Chef with the day to day running of this large operation
  • as a Pastry Chef de Partie you will play an integral part in the restaurants operation
  • you will work 5 days per week and 2 days off
  • preparing specific food items and meal components at your station
  • oversee all aspects of the pastry department, including dessert creation, production, and plating
  • following directions provided by the Head Chef
  • develop innovative and visually stunning dessert and pastry offerings that align with the restaurant's culinary philosophy
  • collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure high-quality food and service
  • supervise and train the pastry team, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring to enhance their skills and knowledge
