to ensure proper implementation of Company policies and procedures, ensuring they are understood and followed by all team members
you will be working with the Executive Head Chef in ensuring a smooth running of the kitchen and being involved in the ordering and rotas for the kitchen team
developing, creating and producing pastry dishes to a high standard
working with the executive chef to plan menus and desserts for events
ensuring the highest levels of health and safety and food hygiene are maintained in the kitchen
training and motivating a team of chefs to reach their potential
maintaining high levels of stock control and ordering ingredients
working to a budget and ensuring cost effectiveness
ensure all the food sent from kitchen is of the highest standards
support the feasibility and development of the new experience from a food perspective
prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards
ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during food preparation and production
assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients
monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
