NVQ L2 Food Hygiene qualification desired, but not essential at training can be provided

washing up, cleaning and clearing all kitchen areas
unloading and putting away deliveries
emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors
ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly
deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards
basic food preparation
to clear empty bottles from the bar and return clean trolleys
to remove all rubbish and bottles from plate wash area to skip and return trolley for bottles
to maintain, clear and clean the Team Dining Room where needed
to stack plates in larder pass and fish section
to ensure work area is always left clean and tidy; and
to check paper hand towels and soap dispensers are replenished regularly

rates of Pay – £11.00 – £18.90 per hour
to prepare vegetables and other foodstuffs and beverages as directed by Head Chef/Chef in charge
to wash dishes and kitchen utensils. To fill, operate and empty the dishwasher as required
to ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct and safe manner as detailed by the Head Chef
