  • proficient in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes
  • culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential
  • proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef looking to move up or in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel
  • michelin-trained chef with a proven track record in high-end dining establishments
  • experience working in large formal households, demonstrating the ability to manage staff effectively
  • strong knowledge of international cuisines and dietary requirements
  • excellent leadership and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to kitchen management
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards of quality and service
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment
  • train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and foster teamwork
  • manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
  • monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste through effective stock management
