  • hold a thorough understanding of the sales quotation processes and pricing mechanisms

Responsibility


  • to follow up on order enquiries , confidently persuading and promoting the company's service
  • to produce quality designs and estimates ensuring all specifications and requirements are met to the clients satisfaction
  • to ensure all quotations are commercially costed taking into account of plant, labour, materials and time requirements
  • to retain and nurture existing client relationships for additional business through championing customer service and technical excellence
  • to interface with the client throughout projects/contracts where needed and thereafter to ensure mutually beneficial opportunities are realised
  • to be aware of competitor activity, gaining feedback of unsuccessful tender submissions and monitoring market trends
  • to follow up on order enquiries , confidently persuading and promoting the company's service offering

  • review of Tender Documents to understand requirements related to labour loading, subcontractor/supply chain activities and TUPE
  • raise any tender clarifications required related to the work undertaken
  • ensure pricing models are completed correctly and aligned, easy to follow and updated for the latest information issued by the client
  • all bids are accurate and robust with levels of challenge in advance of final settlement
  • calculate costs associated with TUPE and any new roles created
  • develop preliminary or definitive estimates for projects by using processes, labour availability and productivity, and material prices based on historical data
  • tabulates cost studies, cash flows, and prospect analysis
  • establishes priorities and delegates assignments for the completion of task
  • uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices
  • may direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance
