Responsibility


  • responsible for ensuring projects meet objectives and proscribed deadlines
  • book events and conferences and make necessary travel arrangements for the division or their team
  • take the lead on administrative or facilities-related projects such as office moves and play a lead role in coordinating major divisional projects
  • deal proactively with telephone calls and using judgment to determine priority and importance of the issue, including sensitive, confidential and patient related matters, and refer appropriately
  • draft, type and prepare documents, correspondence, reports and presentations in line with the NHS and Trust criteria. This includes producing high quality, original letters
  • as PA to the management team, you will be the first point of contact to all callers and visitors whether by telephone, e-mail, post or in person and will ensure all visitors are dealt with courteously, promptly and efficiently
  • you will support the recruitment and appointment of individuals in the division including permanent staff, secondments or agency staff, as and when required excluding training, system set-up and induction/protocols
