Responsibility


  • contributes to defining procurement strategy for all categories, in alignment with the Ecosystem
  • define category guidelines and SOP’s
  • promote and foster procurement culture across the organisation
  • lead budget planning activities in collaboration with business functions
  • monitor and review continuously budget for all the categories
  • collaborates with other functions in the definition of policies, quality criteria , legal environmental , ethical to purchase goods/services
  • supports contract harmonization among categories according to procurement category leader and legal guidelines
  • conducts negotiation with suppliers for goods & services categories, in alignment with FBC UK procedures and Ecosystem Code of Business conduct
  • applies and implements purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based in technical, organisational, economical and international financial knowledge
  • acts as first reference point for any issue management, claim management and supplier service level
  • develop, implement and advocate the procurement strategy for the Group
  • driving continuous improvement, best value and quality partnerships with suppliers, contributing to the assessment and delivery of savings targets and other KPIs
  • provide support to suppliers via telephone
  • maintain accurate supplier records in the appropriate management systems
  • use appropriate Category Management tools and techniques to ensure value for money and to evidence procurement best practice
  • set suppliers up on the online procurement system
  • research, assess and prioritise stakeholder requirements, ensuring value for money outcomes and risk assured solutions are achieved
  • deal with requests for amendments to bank details
  • contribute to the development and use of documented policies and procedures for procurement and ensure their application by colleagues and stakeholders
  • provide regular reporting on procurement activity across the organisation
