  • familiarity with NEC contract forms
  • expertise in construction details, rules, and quality standards
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages and MS Projects
  • coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health systems
  • understanding of M&E systems and installation processes
  • hold a professional qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • proficient in Primavera P6 and Tilos
  • knowledgeable in Safety, Environment, and Risk Management
  • strong organizational skills and flexibility

Responsibility


  • prepare, schedule and co-ordinate technical projects
  • the Master Scheduler will be responsible for updating, maintaining and governing the Integrated Master Schedule held within Microsoft Projects
  • develop project specific risk assessments, safety briefs and transport plans
  • interpret customer requirements and ensure adherence to them by creating a technical instruction for a team of engineers to deliver against
  • liaising with tech leads, CAM's and EPM's to gain the required information to make the correct updates to the schedule
  • manage the design and manufacture of rigs required for the project of work
  • championing Best Practice and applying lessons learned within the team, with programme and project teams and other key delivery partners
  • the Master Scheduler will have overall responsibility and ownership of the IMS
  • identifying potential problems with assigned projects, leading a team into developing solutions and ensuring they're implemented
  • take responsibility for the tasking of a team of engineers, informing them of their daily activities
  • working knowledge of programme management principles and how project planning, scheduling and control activities underpin them
  • in collaboration with our project management, pre-construction scheduling and procurement, define the scoring criteria for contractor technical schedule returns
  • support the procurement of scheduling consultants for the pre-construction phase
  • in collaboration with our pre-construction scheduling, review contractor tender schedules and provide the project management team a recommendation
  • following appointment, provide onboarding and mentoring of new and existing consultant partners
  • following appointment, provide on boarding and mentoring of new and existing GC and Sub-Con partners of varying degrees of maturity
  • analyse submitted pre-construction baselines from consultants against EMEA quality, mechanics and content criteria
  • analyse submitted construction baselines from contractor against EMEA quality, mechanics and content criteria
  • where inconsistencies with the required standards are identified, working with the contractor to rectify and provide acceptance of the baseline
  • support the pre-construction project team with assessing long lead equipment and material procurement lead times and proposed construction sequencing
