  • programme or Project Controls Qualification - Practitioner or equivalent
  • expert level in Microsoft Projects, Qualifications and demonstrable experience with Microsoft Projects and managing complex master schedules
  • experience of working within an Engineering environment
  • demonstrable experience working in a role where cross-team communication and relationship building was vital to delivery
  • experience working with planning software, i.e. a Passport Work Management System
  • knowledge of relevant industrial, radiological and nuclear safety standards and procedures knowledge of Site organisational structure
  • planning experience
  • knowledge of Procurement and Financial Control Systems . #INDOR
  • ONC/BTEC3 or equivalent knowledge/NVQ3 in an appropriate technical discipline, OR planning/co-ordination experience in a similar process environment i.e. manufacturing, oil & gas etc
  • knowledge of relevant industrial, radiological and nuclear safety standards and procedures – knowledge of site organisational structure
  • flexible in approach to working arrangements . #INDOR

Responsibility


  • prepare, schedule and co-ordinate technical projects
  • the Master Scheduler will be responsible for updating, maintaining and governing the Integrated Master Schedule held within Microsoft Projects
  • develop project specific risk assessments, safety briefs and transport plans
  • interpret customer requirements and ensure adherence to them by creating a technical instruction for a team of engineers to deliver against
  • liaising with tech leads, CAM's and EPM's to gain the required information to make the correct updates to the schedule
  • manage the design and manufacture of rigs required for the project of work
  • championing Best Practice and applying lessons learned within the team, with programme and project teams and other key delivery partners
  • the Master Scheduler will have overall responsibility and ownership of the IMS
  • identifying potential problems with assigned projects, leading a team into developing solutions and ensuring they're implemented
  • take responsibility for the tasking of a team of engineers, informing them of their daily activities
  • working knowledge of programme management principles and how project planning, scheduling and control activities underpin them
  • you will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of the assigned departments, ensuring the right level of resource is available internally when required to meet the customer volume demands
