  • excellent numerical and analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret detailed and complex activity and financial information and to develop and use case management systems and to have the confidence and ability to train and develop others in the use and application of such systems
  • excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present a range of complex and detailed financial and other issues to a diverse audience
  • degree or equivalent in social work
  • degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent
  • degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • current Social Work England registration
  • registered as Social Worker
  • understanding of relevant legislation
  • recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist

  • legal Reporting Metrics
  • to work closely with the Head of Legal services to provide leadership and direction to the legal services team. You will ensure that performance is monitored and an efficient level of service is provided to the lawyers and client departments
  • to work closely with the legal services team and with relevant clients & client Partners, to drive forward continuous improvement, identifying and investigating both possible risk areas and potential opportunities
  • holding a small caseload
  • provide a high-quality social work services for children in line with departmental policies and procedures
  • you will focus on approved and waiting adopters and the link with matching within our local authorities
  • working with the manager to identify and focus on looked after and care leavers cases that are high risk
  • ensure the implementation and delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework is aligned with the Local Authority’s practice model Signs of Safety
  • chairing strategy meetings
