Requirements


  • experience of supervising or managing a small established team
  • previous experience of working in a similar Sales Administrator, Coordinator, Account Management role
  • experience of working in Manufacturing, Engineering or Supply Chain
  • exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • excellent planning, organisation and problem solving skills
  • able to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as experience in coaching new team members
  • strong organisational and time management skills, as well as the ability to perform tasks requiring close attention to detail, are necessary
  • experience leading on project work is required
  • experience in retail merchandising is advantageous
  • multi-tasking abilities, the ability to prioritise and handle competing demands in a busy customer environment, are highly desirable
  • ability to demonstrate exceptional engagement with all customers, including children, within the context of the Idea Store, which is located in Tower Hamlets
  • strong Customer Service background
  • exceptionally organised
  • ideally 1-2 years' experience in a similar role although training will be given
  • technologically proficient and familiarity with MS office software
  • an ability to communicate with various people at different levels
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information effectively
  • strong time management and multitasking abilities, able to complete work efficiently
  • strong interpersonal skills, able to build good relationships with clients

Responsibility


  • you will provide first-level triaging and prioritising of work requests and work closely with Estates Service teams to ensure work is progressing, highlighting any potential issues
  • handle customer enquiries with appropriate and timely follow through and document all customer interactions and tasks
  • and generally, other responsibilities as may become necessary due to the evolving nature of the event
  • provide operational support and guidance to the Customer Service team
  • review training material and conduct training
  • conduct staff reviews and team meetings
  • monitor staff performance and provide daily coaching
  • deal with any customer escalations for the wider team
  • cover for the Customer Service Manager as required
  • produce analysis and reports including data on SLA's, KPI's for internal and external use
  • consistently lead by example within the team
  • point of contact for key customer account including conducting account review meetings
  • providing quotes including follow up
  • processing sales orders
  • maintaining stock levels
  • act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing assistance, signposting, and positive solutions via face-to-face interactions, telephone calls, or digital means. Collaborate with a team of Customer Service
  • act as first point of escalation for complaints
  • handling escalated complaints including the preparation of full case details and constructing final response letters
  • providing Customer care at the highest level
  • coordinating outbound international moves
