Requirements


  • experienced Business Change Manager
  • recent Insurance experience essential
  • post implementation business readiness experience
  • exposure to Guidewire or Policy Administration systems a nice to have
  • excellent stakeholder management
  • demonstrable experience in engaging at a Senior level
  • background in Change Management rather than Technology - highly technical candidates need not apply
  • extensive experience in defining business change plans for large scale transformation programmes in similar legacy organisations within regulated industries
  • prior experience within transformation programmes that involve transitioning from waterfall to agile methodology and extensive cultural changes
  • as the first Business Change Manager within the division, you will be able to demonstrate to the business the viability and value of business change
  • experience within a similar division that acts as an internal supplier to the business. Experience working for an external supplier and/or within commercial procurement would also be advantageous
  • change Management Qualification – PROSCI, APMG or similar - desirable but not essential
  • build out businesses own change methodology, and contribute to the growth of our project and change capabilities across the company
  • closely support our Communications Team to deliver timely, consistent and impactful comms on change
  • assess the change impact - Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders
  • apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities focused on the successful separation of two businesses as well as any future corporate integrations
  • support training efforts – Where required, provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programmes
  • produce documentation, training and communications regarding business/process changes and employee actions required. For example – new time writing processes associated with our new HR systems
  • monitor and report on change impact
  • implement a change management methodology, with supporting processes and tools, to support adoption of the changes required by the separation project and any integration projects

Responsibility


  • manage the day to day merger and acquisitions projects
  • devise and drive forward integration and separation plans working with team leads and key stakeholders
  • manage project dependencies of varying complexity, potentially planning and feeding into larger programmes and sub-portfolios
  • remove project blockers and manage risks, budgets working with SME delivery teams and other counterparts
  • be responsible for understanding, coordinating and communicating to complex stakeholder groups, balancing priorities
  • be the initial escalation point and maintain an awareness of the bigger picture
  • acts as the driving force to continuously improve the ways of working
  • be, and be seen as, the pivotal focal point for delivery within the teams
  • track metrics and success criteria
  • measure and communicate on the progress of the delivery teams
  • establish and facilitate relentless improvement by working closely with teams and other divisions to handle impediments in a timely manner
  • supports the business lead in managing senior stakeholders
  • design and set-up of Programme governance, including decision-making, design and delivery forums - Steering Committee Meetings, Senior leadership calls, etc
  • owns the programme master plan for all supporting work streams , including milestone updates, risk and inter-dependency management
  • proactive management of the programme RAID log ensuring that risks are properly impact assessed and mitigating actions defined and tracked

  • creation and distribution of materials for key governance forums including steerco / BDA / Change control
  • maintain project management templates and tools to allow for the smooth and efficient running of the Programme
  • coordinate and facilitate the programme working group meeting including programme status reporting, track and chase actions
  • manage the programme budget and present to Programme Leadership monthly
