Requirements


  • you will be required to evidence your grades prior to starting the apprenticeship
  • you must not already hold an equivalent or higher qualification in Governance or Risk
  • live in England or spend 50% of your working time in England, and have been a resident in the UK, the British Overseas Territories, or Crown Dependencies for at least the previous three years before the start of the apprenticeship
  • if you are unable to evidence your grades you will be supported to complete a functional skills qualification as part of your apprenticeship

Responsibility


  • assisting and supporting other members of staff within the specialty as required in order to provide a positive client experience
  • an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Occupational Health & Well being Department
  • dealing with incoming and outgoing post on a daily basis
  • support delivery of statutory accounts year-end process, assisting preparations and proof reading final accounts
  • support administration of board and committee meetings, preparing agendas and tracking/ updating actions from meetings
  • working with the Front of House Assistant to provide a seamless front-of-house experience
  • daily scanning incoming post, recording, distributing and filing the same
  • meeting and greeting clients to the reception area
  • assisting with meeting room bookings, setting up meeting rooms and catering
  • assisting with organising events
  • providing reception cover in the absence of the Front of House Assistant to include lunch cover
  • completing file closures on case management system and archiving records with storage provider
  • assisting the Office Manager with office sustainability and the firm’s journey to net zero
  • stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations
  • generate HR reports as needed, including headcount reports, turnover analysis, and other HR metrics
  • assist in coordinating recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
  • assist in maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
  • support the accounts payable and receivable functions
  • assist in preparing financial reports and statements
  • collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
