  • our IT Services & Consulting client is looking for a Procurement Manager to join them on an initial 3 month contract
  • FTC - 12 months
  • london based - Hybrid
  • remote working with travel to Leeds/London as and when required
  • manage the procurement function for the group
  • provide a centre of procurement expertise, advice and guidance across the organisation on the correct procurement processes, procedures and regulations
  • lead on all tenders for the Group ensuring compliance with legislation as well as Group financial regulations
  • maintenance of the contracts register ensuring that forthcoming renewals are identified and pro-actively contacting the contract owner
  • ensuring that Group procurement policy is updated in line with regulations and adhered to
  • where necessary, providing training and guidance to other departments on procurement best practice and processes
  • providing day to day guidance and training to the procurement assistant
  • involvement with purchase order administration within the finance system
  • sourcing and category subject matter specialist conducting market and internal analysis to develop and implement strategies and tactical plans
  • procurement practitioner delivering and executing sourcing strategies
