  • global procurement experience
  • proven track record in managing outsourced procurement for 1st generation technology projects
  • accomplished procurement professional with a deep understanding of procurement best practices and processes
  • experience in change management and transformation, with the ability to drive organizational change and implement new procurement strategies
  • ability to work with a large team of approximately 300-600 internal heads involved in the outsourcing process
  • bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • professional certifications in procurement are desirable

Responsibility


  • ownership of the Procurement strategies for the agreed Software categories
  • maintain senior stakeholder relationships
  • provide strategic commercial input to a broad range of initiatives
  • help develop and deliver procurement initiatives and best practices
  • interact with other departments at a global and local level including various Technology areas, Finance and Legal
  • influencing business strategy for best commercial results
  • manage risk and provide good stakeholder management
  • provide contract management services when required
  • encourage innovation in plans and maintain a robust performance management regime
  • leading the procurement of goods and services for the department, delivering value for money, are compliant with procurement law, and demonstrate best commercial and procurement practice
  • ownership of the procurement input into the business units related Capital Projects business processes and procedures, consistent with agreed scope
