Requirements


  • experienced within Facilities Management
  • experienced in managing projects within FM or contruction
  • background gained within an Engineering or Manufacturing organisation would prove beneficial
  • able to obtain SC Clearance

  • time served apprentice or engineering graduate
  • engineering management experience
  • 5 years’ experience in facilities maintenance in FMCG
  • IOSH Managing safely and/or other related Health & Safety qualification- Required
  • continuous CPD or prepared to work toward this.- Desirable
  • minimum 2 years’ experience in planned service management, within Facilities management is desirable but not essential
  • excellent time management, prioritisation, delegation and project management skills
  • experience leading a team
  • excellent numeracy/analytical skills and competency in dealing with complex financial information
  • experience with managing H&S aspects within the business
  • excellent communication skills – written, meetings and presentations

Responsibility


  • leading on all Soft FM, covering security, catering and cleaning services
  • managing teams with multiple reportees, as all services are in-house
  • liaising with senior/director level stakeholders
  • ensure compliance with the Trust's policy and procedures
  • manage action recording and timely follow-up and updates to wider business areas on FM topics
  • act as the local voice of FM at Site level working groups where required
  • provide support to the Site FMRE BP to own reactive/unplanned issues that arise across site
  • oversee/ integrate several projects across site rather than just one project relating to Facilities
  • reporting into key senior stakeholders, communicate with senior areas of the business
  • provide support to Facilities Management activities ranging from Maintenance to Strategic Construction projects, acting as a focal point and drum beating actions/ updates as required
  • support the project teams with deliverables
  • work with Site Business Partners and Building custodians to define and lead the introduction of an effective Site/Building Process confirmation routine and action follow-up
  • assisting the Head of Estates to maintain and update a comprehensive cyclical maintenance programme for the building, equipment and all assets
  • buildings are secure
  • managing the security of the site, liaison with security contractors and to ensure that school
  • fox Morris Group are working to recruit a Facilities & Resource Manager
  • to cover any other Area Manager duties and responsibilities as directed by a Facilities Manager to ensure an efficient and effective service
  • to act as a Duty Manager responding to all building and staffing issues in accordance with DCC guidance
