Requirements


  • knowledge of Gambling Commission Remote Gaming Standards, Gaming Test House management, responsible gaming, ASA and CAP codes of significant benefit
  • knowledgeable of Microsoft software
  • self-motivated, able to work independently, willing to accept challenges, with good time management and organisation skills
  • at least 3 years in gambling compliance with a good understanding of working within regulations and Risk assessments with relevant compliance/legal qualifications
  • strong expertise in Consumer Protection
  • possesses the stature and executive presence to collaborate directly with senior business leaders
  • regulatory change management experience in technology company is desirable but not required
  • strong Consumer Protection experience - Consumer Duty, Vulnerable Customers, Conduct Risk
  • strong ability to influence key decision makers, and successfully partners with key stakeholders in Risk, Compliance, and Legal
  • 10+ years of program management experience across multiple workstreams/business units
  • strong written communication skills with an ability to meaningfully review, critique and contribute to internal documents and those submitted to the regulators
  • critical thinker, with an ability to challenge the status quo and simplify and streamline key project decisions. Successfully connect dots and outline the overall strategic picture
  • independent operator, who is able to Own, lead and monitor the overall program, engaging key stakeholders as appropriateIs flexible, and is able to deal with ambiguity and changePossesses excellent organisational skills

Responsibility

  • support the implementation of the compliance framework to comply with relevant government regulations, internal guidelines
  • produce timely, accurate management reporting meeting SLA and KPI'sas required
  • support the design and distribution of compliance related staff guidance materials
  • supporting the mapping and gap analysis of compliance related processes
  • supporting Responsible Gaming Framework management and implementation to ensure compliance with all requirements for Product design and test, branding and marketing, distribution channels, and operational implementation
  • providing guidance on compliance matters associated with the design and implementation of the operating model
  • acting as the compliance point of contact, on behalf of RGO in relation to matters associated with the RGF
  • contribute to Section 6 licence application and BAS reviews
  • supporting additional compliance related tasks as required - ensuring that departments adhere to the rules and regulations that a company upholds, planning reports
  • providing assurance on the compliance of, policies and procedures in line with relevant rules and regulations
  • oversee the entire Consumer Duty program, coordinating with multiple functional workstreams and ensuring effective governance and oversight
  • act as the subject matter expert in areas such as conduct risk, consumer duty, vulnerable customers, and TCF
  • coordinate 2023 activities related to Conduct Risk, Vulnerable Customers, Consumer Duty, and TCF
  • foster a customer-centric culture across the business, in line with FCA recommendations
  • develop and enhance training programs for staff on UK Consumer protection regulations
  • provide advice, guidance, and challenge to the business regarding Conduct Risk policies and regulatory requirements
  • analyze business processes to ensure customers achieve good outcomes and maintain compliance with FCA's Consumer Duty
  • lead internal and external meetings, document outcomes, and drive deliverables and accountability
