Responsibility


  • lead, inspire, and manage the culinary operations across two kitchens, ensuring a cohesive and unified approach to our unique Japanese-Mexican fusion
  • collaborate closely with the Head Chefs on menu development, seasonal offerings, and innovative dish creation

  • full-time Chef required in Chelsea, London, salary £55,000 — £70,000 gross per annum, live in or out, starting December 2023
  • breakfast is served from 8 am — 9 am and dinner from 8pm — 10pm
  • A lovely family of three residing in Chelsea is seeking a creative chef to join their household and cater to their family needs
  • the Chef must be professional, well-presented, clean, and a great team player who is flexible to the family needs
  • the working schedule is 5 days per week, Monday — Friday, working 50 hours per week
  • the family enjoys entertaining and will host dinner parties, three courses up to three times per week for 4 — 6 guests. Very occasionally dinner parties may be larger and additional temporary support will be sourced for service
  • responsibilities will involve menu planning, grocery shopping, overseeing the budget, pantry management, managing and cleaning the kitchen, and assisting with additional duties within the home such as overseeing contractors, paying invoices, running errands, accepting deliveries, shopping and being a great team player in the staffed home
  • the salary on offer is £55,000 gross per annum for live-in and up to £70,000 gross for live-out
  • the ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in private homes able to deliver and cater to the family needs with British, French and Italian cuisine
  • some seasons are busier than others and downtime will be available during the day. Shoot season, the family tends to be away for half the week
  • this role is preferred as a live-in with a one-bedroom apartment provided on the lower ground floor of the family home, with a separate entrance. A partner is welcome to reside in the property. No pets
