Responsibility

  • the Business Support Administrator will work within the Arts & Humanities Faculty Office Business Support Team
  • they will assist in managing shared Faculty inboxes and will report to the Business Support Manager
  • the postholder will also assist with other general office management duties as directed
  • this post is an opportunity to begin a career in business and financial administration in a small friendly team within a London Russell Group University
  • the postholder will assist with expense claim processing, payments, purchasing, and travel booking requests, relating to a wide range of Faculty budgets
  • key Responsibilities
  • to assist with any other duties as may be required from time to time, including providing cover at the student counters within the departmental offices
  • undertaking any other projects or duties appropriate to the post as may be required
  • the above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post
  • responsibility for prompt, efficient and accurate processing of non-routine and routine expense claims
  • oversee the Graduate Teaching Assistants and Hourly Paid Lecturers recruitment, including working with Programmes Team, Departmental management and King’s Teachers/ HR
  • undertake any other reasonable duties that may be requested by the Business Support Manager or the Head of Cluster Administration
  • this is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
  • assist the Executive Assistant to the CEO, as well as provide support to the wider Personal Assistant team
  • support various tasks, including booking rooms, managing schedules, and handling ad hoc responsibilities
  • handle confidential information with utmost discretion, understanding the appropriate times and ways to maintain confidentiality Aid in diary management and travel arrangements, ensuring efficient coordination and organisation
