Requirements

  • A BSc or equivalent qualification in Audiology
  • previous clinical experience of working as an Audiologist in a Hospital or private setting
  • HCPC or RCCP registration is desirable
  • HCPC Registered
  • minimum of 18 months postgraduate experience
  • minimum of two years postgraduate experience
  • 3 month locum assignment to start as soon as possible
  • previous clinical experience performing a similar role within the NHS
  • wax removal Via micro-suction training will be provided
  • right to work in the UK required
  • this is a multi-site role each sites is easily commutable, no moving equipment between site, driving not required
  • must be rregistered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser or soon to be eligible to register
  • business development experience advantages and a strong sales acumen
  • registered with the HCPC as a Hearing Aid Dispenser or soon to be eligible to register
  • commercial experience will be advantages to cope with a busy well-established practises with modern facilities
  • looking for outgoing candidates with good communication
  • full UK driving licence required
  • wax removal accreditation desired
  • desire to help grow an improve an already successful independent business while providing a high level of care & service
  • should enjoy working within a high performing team and be passionate about hearing care

Responsibility

  • ongoing assignment to start as soon as possible
  • 45k basic
  • direct referrals
  • full time hours weekends may be included
  • commission for selling hearing aids
  • paediatric hearing aid habilitation
  • reassessments
  • the successful candidate will be working within a strong team

  • fitting of hearing aids/follow ups/repairs

  • conducting comprehensive hearing tests, evaluating client requirements, and communicating available options to them
  • tailoring the dispensing of hearing aids to address clients' hearing loss, needs, and financial considerations
  • offering microsuction services, with an initial emphasis of approximately 50% of your time as we launch the centre
  • managing aftercare service appointments and addressing hearing aid repairs
  • participating in continuous training and upholding current Continuing Professional Development requirements
  • performing additional administrative tasks as necessary
