holds a diploma in specialist play for sick children and young people or equivilant experience
knowledge and understanding of child development and ability to implement therapeutic programs of play
able to remain calm in an emergency situation
experience working within a multidisplinary team
experience working in a hospital with sick children or adolescent
diploma in nursery nursing or btec childcare and development qualification
able to provide basic preparative distraction and post procedural play
