Requirements


  • pharmacy Technician
  • GPHC Registration
  • previous experience within a UK based Pharmacy setting
  • NVQ or equivalent – Pharmacy Technician qualification
  • valid Passport/Visa
  • fully compliant and cleared to work
  • knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements is an asset
  • NVQ 2 Qualified
  • familiarity with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and EU GDP Guidelines
  • an excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience
  • pharmacy experience preferred but not essential
  • must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills
  • able to demonstrate an understanding of maximising retail opportunities via excellent service
  • able to build relationships with key partners
  • experience in ordering and merchandising and replenishment
  • A good level of maths
  • pharmacy: 1 year
  • minimum five GCSE passes
  • the successful candidate will be polite, vigilant and have the ability to work well under pressure. You will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work well on your own initiative and the enthusiasm to complete all aspects of the course
  • able to comply fully and understand the importance of customer confidentiality

Responsibility


  • as a Pharmacy Support Worker, you work as part of the Pharmacy team to provide an effective pharmacy service in the Pharmacy Dispensary, at Ward Level and to support the dispensing of out-patient prescriptions
  • follow all standard operating procedures accurately
  • they will provide support the Pharmacy Team in the provision of an efficient and high-quality service to the hospital’s internal and external customers. The post-holder will be accountable on a day-to-day basis to the Lead Research Technicians
