  • you will need to have retail pharmacy experience but it is not a requirement for you to be pharmacist

  • we are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacy Manager, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service

  • to supervise the day to day activities connected with the preparation and supply of medicines
  • to provide pharmaceutical expertise and input to the care of the patients within the hospital
  • to provide advice to patients on the use of medicines, and general Public Health and healthy lifestyle matters
  • to support the pharmacy department to delivery an excellent medicine management service to all customers
  • support as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician to provide an efficient ward-based service to ensure the accurate and timely supply of medicines
  • to supervise the procurement, preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines
  • participate and assist in the development of patient dispensing services within the Trust to provide an efficient process
  • to be accountable for the delivery of all local, national, and advanced services commissioned from the branch
  • to Influence prescribing practice and medicines management within the Hospital
  • deliver training and assessing competencies of pharmacy team
  • ensure errors, complaints and incidents are managed in line with the Nuffield Health guidelines, specifically reporting these using the RADAR system and reviewing/investigating relevant RADAR reports relating to medicines
