promote health and wellness
provide the business with accurate reporting on heath metrics
introducing programmes to support the wider health and wellbeing of the workforce
advising employers on preventing or minimising exposure of workers to hazardous agents - such as noxious chemicals or excessive noise
undertaking 'stress audits’
helping compliance with other health and safety regulations, including duties to report occupational injuries and diseases under RIDDOR
carrying out specific assessments to determine fitness for work in safety-critical environments - such as fork lift driving, food safety and clinical healthcare
performing statutory health surveillance where this is required by law, such as when workers may be exposed to hazardous substances, noise or vibration
to work in a timely way to support Operational Productivity
working in close collaboration with HR and H&S. Attending meetings as required including HR sickness meetings and health and safety meetings
conduct Health Assessments, reporting on the outcomes within agreed timescales and to agreed standards, policies and procedures and NMC guidelines
to be able to work closely with HR and health and safety and other OH partners in order to provide an efficient and cost effective service to the business
produces management reports as required
