Requirements


  • 1 year experience working as a Sonographer within an NHS Hospital setting
  • ultrasound: 1 year
  • HCPC registered and a qualified Radiographer with experience/specialising in Sonography
  • recent UK postgraduate experience
  • min. 2 Years, MSK/Thyroid ultrasound particularly
  • relevant degree or qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or Sonography
  • CASE accredited obstetric qualifications, including FMF and FASP accreditation
  • postgraduate qualification in Obstetric Ultrasound or equivalent relevant experience
  • A visionary Obstetric Trained Sonographer, with an unyielding commitment to raising the bar for obstetric ultrasound practices
  • HCPC registered and a qualified Radiographer with specialised experience in Sonography
  • eligibility to reside and work in the UK
  • post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
  • overseas qualification equivalent to Pg Dip
  • registered with the HCPC and SOR or RCT
  • 2 years post qualification experience gained in NHS Trusts and Private Enterprises
  • to be able to work proficiently in all main areas of Ultrasound practice

  • full-time or part-time placement – weekdays & weekends

Responsibility


  • perform ultrasound examinations on patients to capture images for diagnostic purposes
  • provide patient care and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process
  • utilize anatomy knowledge to accurately locate and identify structures during scans
  • collaborate with healthcare team members to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans
  • maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning for accurate imaging results
  • adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being
  • conduct high-quality obstetric ultrasound examinations, including fetal anatomy scans, growth assessments, and Doppler studies
  • perform ultrasound examinations with precision and expertise, ensuring accurate diagnostic imaging
  • accurately interpret and analyze ultrasound images, providing timely and precise reports to the clinical team
  • utilize our advanced technology to produce high-resolution images, pushing the boundaries of diagnostic accuracy and elevating patient care to new heights
  • utilize your CASE accredited obstetric qualifications to provide specialized care to expectant mothers
  • collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients
