Responsibility


  • we’re recruiting for a motivated and ambitious Parts Manager for our busy Parts department in our Inverness Peugeot branch
  • develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability of the parts business
  • manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of parts to customers
  • develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
  • provide leadership and direction to the parts team to ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • manage multiple OEM’s
  • manage supply chain, warehousing & stock levels
  • responsible for spare parts department management, supervise department daily operation
  • responsible for spare parts stock management and inventory check
  • to ensure the sale of all necessary items to support customer requirements
  • being commercially aware of costs across the function – controlling, sustaining and measuring
  • understanding and working with the managers on efficiency and effectiveness of the function
  • supporting and driving your management team to work on measuring, fixing and growing their individual departments
  • driving and ensuring all process and compliance measures are adhered to across the function
  • leading and managing the development of all team members through your management team and across all depots within the Parts function
  • having a retail growth approach - creating and implementing a retail strategy with short, medium and long-term goals. Working in line with Manufacturer guidelines where applicable
  • clearly communicating the Parts strategy to the Group Assistant Parts Manager and Parts Supervisors, and ensuring that message is clearly communicated to their teams. Working in line with customer needs
  • manage stock control, including stock taking and adjustments
  • carrying out daily / weekly stock checking
  • assisting with the pre-picking of parts for workshop job cards
