Requirements

  • experience working in Automotive Software, Control systems, or calibration Knowledge of vehicle systems and networks

Responsibility


  • the Software Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and development of software build environment
  • A test track and workshop facilities are part of site where the team is based
  • create suspension layout studies and check packaging including consideration of kinematics, dynamic envelopes , compliances, tuning and component variability
  • instrumenting and using data acquisition methods on whole vehicles and/or vehicle components
  • verification of correct diagnostic tool operation and acceptance testing of the diagnostic tools
  • draw, update, and maintain designs
  • manage multiple complex projects at the same time
  • ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
  • liaise with internal and external customers to define requirements and specifications for new products
  • ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
  • create initial concept schemes
  • generate and manage design release schedules to meet customer requirements
  • challenge assumptions and think innovatively to solve complex problems
  • identify new systems and process to drive quality, efficiency and cost reduction
  • work as an individual contributor or as part of a team on multiple projects of varying size, scope, and complexity
  • manage and lead design team through all aspects of the product design and development process from initial concept to production, focussing on interior trim
  • respond quickly to shifting priorities without losing sight of longer range projects and goals
