Requirements

previous customer service experience

parts advisor: 3 years
automotive industry experience is highly desirable
previous experience in data editing or a related field is a plus
knowledge of automotive parts and industry terminology is essential
strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
ability to adapt to fast-paced and constantly changing work environments
A good technical understanding and general knowledge of how motor vehicles work

Responsibility

warranty Claims
edit and update automotive parts data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
collaborate with the team to identify and rectify any data discrepancies or errors
conduct research to gather relevant information and ensure data integrity
ensure timely delivery of data updates and maintain data quality standards
work closely with the team to identify opportunities for data improvement and automation
work closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of the workshop
stock control and replenishment
locating unavailable items from other suppliers and arrange for delivery or pass order to stock control for orders to be raised
maximising sales opportunities through upselling and campaigns
responsibility for key account customers; developing sales and opportunities to increase spend
delivering levels of customer service in line with company standards
dealing with all customer complaints both speedily and effectively
receiving all parts orders, interpreting customer requirements and giving advice on any additional requirements or prices, matching orders against stock items and advising customer of any items which are not stocked or need ordering
review and order parts based on workshop assessments in a timely manner
utilise computer systems and parts catalogues to identify and locate required parts
process invoice transactions accurately and efficiently
handle parts returns to ensure all credits are accounted for
maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels
budget / profitability management
