Requirements


  • proven experience in event management, particularly within the wedding industry
  • A proactive approach with exceptional organisational and communication skills

  • you will have previous experience in a wedding co-ordinator/planner role, preferably within a 4-star quality hotel or events venue
  • you are passionate about events and prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests
  • you forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and our valued guests through your excellent communication skills
  • you are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided

  • proven experience in event planning or a related field within hospitality
  • strong organisational skills with an eye for detail

Responsibility


  • conduct personalised viewings of Foxcombe Hall, ensuring each couple experiences the unique possibilities and beauty of the venue
  • offer personalised advice and recommendations, understanding that each couple’s dream wedding is unique
  • serve as an on-the-day coordinator, working attentively to ensure wedding events unfold seamlessly and memorably upon booking
  • build a warm and supportive relationship with the couples, understanding their vision and translating it into an extraordinary wedding day reality

  • coordinate with various vendors such as florists, caterers, photographers, and venues to ensure seamless execution of the event
  • responding and sending proposals to enquiries received on a variety of different platforms- such as webpages, emails, calls etc

  • work closely with clients to ensure their requirements are met, providing excellent service throughout
  • be hands-on and willing to assist in event execution if needed
  • operate independently, making decisions and taking initiative as required
