Responsibility


  • responsible for managing site projects including implementing of key milestones
  • accountable for investigating any close calls, dangerous occurrences or incidents that are reported
  • responsible for ensuring all sites are covered at all times, in line with Mitie Service Level Agreement
  • responsible for managing team development, including delivering on-site training in line with company standards and policies
  • to support planned audits – Monthly & QHSE
  • lead the Front of House team ensuring high levels of service are maintained
  • responsible for arranging cover for annual leave and unplanned absence
  • set, monitor, and review standards of operation and service in line with hotel strategy, values, and industry trends
  • manage the budget and KPIs for the department including generating revenue and controlling costs
  • manage skills gaps and vacant roles by developing the team and effective recruitment
  • be familiar with all operational standards and be available to cover roles during busy periods, including periodic night shifts
  • lead the stabilisation and expansion of the Guest Services functions to maintain strong guest satisfaction
  • lead and motivate the team to interact frequently and daily with our guests to seek feedback and build positive guest relations and loyalty
  • monitor guest feedback across all platforms – ensures effective initiatives are implemented to improve the NPS, GRI and TripAdvisor scores
  • take an instrumental part in the management and organisation of the hotel’s duty management, i.e. preparation of the rota, assess training needs, enhance the duty management function
  • ensure the team is trained to perform to the highest LQA and AA standards with consistency
  • work as Deputy in the absence of the Director of Rooms
  • you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil their duties and in any event not less than 40 hours
  • ensuring impeccable guest check-in and check-out experiences
