Requirements

  • bartending: 1 year
  • hospitality: 1 year
  • customer Service: 1 year
  • due to some responsibilities within the Store Person role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts
  • successful candidates will be required to provide references for the last 5 years and undergo a Criminal Record Check in line with Airport Security Regulations
  • you are a team player and work hard to meet shift targets in timely manner
  • proven experience working in a hospitality environment
  • excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers effectively
  • knowledge of stock management and rotation
  • ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment

  • experience in a bar or restaurant setting is desirable
  • previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • experience in Mixology and Cocktails
  • previous experience working in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • knowledge of basic maths for handling payments and calculating drink prices
  • strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude
  • have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work daytimes, evenings, and weekends

Responsibility

  • prepare and serve drinks to customers in a timely and friendly manner
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
  • take orders, handle cash transactions, and operate the till
  • engage with customers, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • interact with guests, answer questions, and provide a great experience
  • resolve guest issues and concerns in a professional manner
  • work as a team with other bar staff to provide the best customer experience
  • maintain cleanliness of the bar
  • assist with the day-to-day operations of the bar
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards
  • process payments accurately, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and maintain a balanced cash register
  • prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages including cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards
  • have a comprehensive understanding of the drink menu, including ingredients, origins, and recommended pairings, and be able to offer suggestions and recommendations to customers
