  • sound operational knowledge of Stock Management and Warehousing within an eCommerce environment or Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment
  • ability to communicate professionally and effectively with your Client and colleagues alike, both verbally and in written communications
  • be fully computer literate and numerate
  • you will need to have an organised and methodical approach, and a keen attention to detail
  • A knowledge of our Client systems would be an advantage, although full training will be given
  • ability to calmly manage and prioritise a large workload, within pressing timescales
  • willingness to undertake training to learn new skills, and to be cross-trained to support other warehouse departments during downtime

Responsibility

  • develop the Goods-In operation by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilisation, process management and auditing
  • propose new initiatives into system improvement to management team
  • work closely with Warehouse Manager to solve day to day operational issues
  • review and manage work flows
  • develop action plans
  • identify any training needs within the team and carry out training
  • manage low level HR functions within the team i.e absence management and 121''s
  • liaise with all factories to ensure any special instructions have been implemented
  • assist with product item number creation
  • other administrative duties as required
  • place purchase orders with factories
  • liaise with third party warehouse as required
  • placing stock and special orders
  • picking customers' online orders accurately so they receive the products they requested
