Responsibility


  • attending meetings and training sessions with the team

  • the Telesales team are responsible for making contact with self-employed individuals to discuss the services they offer
  • as part of this team, you’ll be fully trained, not only in selling techniques but also in the details of self-assessment tax, VAT, and self-employment in general
  • with these new skills and knowledge, you’ll be able to best advise customers on the products or packages they can offer to suit their needs and support them with their finances and accounting
  • they offer several products and services across the Group, so understanding the customers' circumstances and needs will help you to identify other services they can provide
  • you’ll spend a lot of time on the phone, and outside of peak call times you’ll issue sales packs and agreements to customers, keep the customer database fully up to date will notes of all contact made, and liaise with internal teams to handover customer details for efficient after-sales care and processing
  • they have a dedicated in-house Trainer to provide companywide training, and all new Telesales Executives receive dedicated and specific sales training from Management, along with ongoing support from Team Leaders and colleagues
