Requirements

ability to manage a P&L
computer literate and able to complete reports for management
customer focused with proven experience either within the ceramic tiling industry or a similar interiors environment
an excellent people manager, able to recruit, train and motivate a top drawer team of sales consultants within a consultative retail showroom environment

excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members
experience in, or qualification in, interior design or a related subject
an attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
A good understanding of contemporary interior design
experience in retail or other customer facing environments
computer literacy in basic desk top publishing and image manipulation software for client presentations
proficiency in CAD-related software for creating floor plans and 3D renderings
strong overall written communication skills for social media and customer communication

cascade relevant information onto store teams
identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Use feedback to modify and develop alternative solutions and be prepared to make decisions
be competent in knowledge of the store’s performance, have a keen awareness of local market which you will be inviting and engaging with imbedding the branch as the one stop go to mobility shop in the area addressing the needs of the local community
use your knowledge of visual merchandising to improve the look and feel of the branch, presenting products and offers in a way that attracts customers interest
attending shows and hosting store open days to increase awareness of the business
manage day-to-day activities of the showroom, including assisting with customers, providing guidance and advice as needed
manage the appearance and aesthetic of the showroom. Including stock levels and product pricing
provide interior design concepts for clients using our products and furniture. This includes producing mood boards, visuals and quotes as applicable
organising and implementing seasonal showroom events
drive overall showroom sales and local engagement
