what you will be doing
you will play an important role in the development and delivery of the supervisory strategies for Retail General and Health Insurance firms
oversee the AP function for the UK group
provide cover of AP clerks when needed, receiving and recording invoices from suppliers
reconcile AP vendor accounts
lead AP project of reducing parked invoices and unallocated payments on account, meeting monthly KPIs
respond to supplier and internal payment chasers/queries
process contractor invoices
manage a team of 3 account payable clerks in the London office as well as supervise our accounts payable outsourced function provided in South Africa
manage daily payment list, prioritising supplier payments
assist with other tasks within the Treasury Team
create month end reports
manage weekly AP report, provided directly to the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director
supervise and coordinate site staff to achieve operational objectives
