Responsibility


  • quoting, booking and operating of reservations involving new requests, amendments, and cancellations, checking availabilities via telephone or using allocation/freesale
  • negotiating with suppliers to secure services at contracted rates whenever possible
  • accurately offering best available pricing, detailing exactly what is included in the rate and applying the correct levels of commission
  • negotiating ad-hoc special rates for agents when specific budgets need to be met
  • working quickly and accurately, at times under pressure, within acceptable timeframes
  • preparing and delivering welcome packages / tickets for clients when applicable, keeping all delivery notes for future reference
  • the Reservations Agent will provide a first class service to the Four Seasons Standards, ensuring that the guests’ needs are met and will do this in a pleasant manner as an ambassador for the Four Seasons product
  • they will be knowledgeable about product and effective at selling it on the telephone handling general enquiries regarding bookings and amendments for Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and other Four Seasons properties in the UK Collection
  • provide a first-class service in line with Four Seasons standards, ensuring guests’ needs are met
  • ~ £28,350 basic salary, plus approximately £5,000 service charge = £33,350
  • hana Consulting is helping an established luxury hotel in Mayfair, Central London recruit for an experienced Reservations Agent
  • reporting to the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate, courteous and efficient execution of hotel guests booking, providing the highest level of personal service
  • you will process all payments according to the established hotel requirements, and keep the department regularly updated with specific guest needs or enquiries
  • the Reservations Agent will be required to maintain control of the hotels room inventory, acting as a ‘gate-keeper’ on a day-to-day basis, including high demand periods and sell-out days
  • portico are on the lookout for an experienced Central Reservations Agent, to join our long standing team based at the city campus of a world-famous Bank
  • working in line with the laid down procedures and to specific service level procedures, the Central Reservations team promptly receive telephone calls, entering the pertinent information on the bank’s reservation booking tool, as well as managing email requests and self-service queries
  • the Central Reservations Agents must also liaise with the relevant departments and clients, to provide the highest levels of client care and service to all
  • hours: 40 hours per week, shifts between 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday
  • they have a special can-do, flexible approach and relish the opportunity to keep raising the bar, exceeding expectations at every opportunity
  • they will also need to build strong working relationships with onsite vendors to ensure full oversight of booking requirements is communicated
