Requirements


  • minimum 2 years experience as a Land and Measured Building Surveyor
  • be competent with Total stations/GPS and survey methodology
  • experience working with AutoCAD 2D
  • 3D scanning skills
  • bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • proven experience as a Land Surveyor with a focus on earthworks projects
  • chartered Land Surveyor or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
  • familiarity with Trimble R12, Total Station, and related surveying equipment
  • minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong background in project management
  • proficiency in using Autocad/N4CE for drafting and design tasks
  • proven experience in managing a team, with excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • proficiency in surveying software and GPS/GIS technology
  • effective communication skills to collaborate within project teams
  • strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • at least 5 years of experience in Land Surveying
  • working knowledge of surveying equipment including Total Stations and GPS systems, and AutoCAD software
  • A qualification in Surveying or a relevant qualification that incorporates Surveying
  • experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys
  • A full UK driving licence

Responsibility


  • conduct land surveys to establish accurate site measurements and boundaries
  • utilize Trimble R12 and Total Station equipment for data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • collaborate with project teams to assist in site preparation and earthwork calculations
  • expertly handle setting out procedures to guide construction activities according to plans
  • generate detailed and accurate reports for project documentation
  • you will be responsible for the management of projects and other surveyors on site
  • undertake land surveys and complete paperwork in accordance with company procedures
  • provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members
  • troubleshooting and resolving issues on site, such as equipment, access, safety concerns etc
  • liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, clients
  • carry out appropriate quality control checks and issue data to CAD
