  • assist in various rural consultancy matters, including valuation, compensation, and agency work
  • primarily conducting valuations of rural properties
  • they are looking for both graduates and qualified rural surveyors
  • compensation and compulsory purchase matters
  • handling Basic Payment Scheme and agri-environmental schemes
  • the role will primarily involve working with agricultural professional, residential, and rural property types
  • providing one off professional advice on Managed Estates
  • valuation of rural assets including farms, estates, houses, equestrian and bare land
  • landlord & Tenancy advice including agricultural tenancies, residential units, commercial lets, sporting and forestry
  • diversification advice to clients including potential for development of farm buildings bringing in the planning team where required
  • to use REAPIT to track and report all agency transactions
  • pro-actively participate in the development of a strong team
  • actively assist in the development and implementation of efficient, 'best practice' internal systems and processes, optimising IT and other resources
  • strategically work with other departments to develop new opportunities and to maintain consistency and efficiency
  • win, work and complete agency transactions in the rural sector. A book of sales includes farmland, amenity land and farm buildings with planning for residential conversion
