  • prior experience in a calibration or similar technical role, preferably in a construction material testing laboratory
  • highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for maintaining accuracy and quality
  • proficient in working with logic controllers and understanding their applications in calibration
  • strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for troubleshooting and maintenance

Responsibility


  • keep impeccable records of results in notebook and technology systems
  • run or schedule analytical tests to evaluate performance and reporting of data/observations
  • shipment of samples to specified destinations
  • interact and communicate effectively with internal contacts as required to conduct laboratory work
  • carry out activities in a way that meets technical and quality standards with minimal supervision
  • ad-hoc work activities within the wider Technology group
  • preparation and blending of formulations following predefined systems and procedures in line with deadlines and priorities developing knowledge in performance testing, science and analytical testing
  • support training of new starters and colleagues in Technology groups
  • support activities to allow effective lab operations
  • basically, ensure equipment is working properly
  • laboratory / Lab experience
  • test method validation
  • hands on device testing
  • torque and Force test tool experience
  • medical or Pharmaceutical experience
  • collecting, reviewing, analysing and reporting of statistical data
  • reading, reviewing and complying with related SOPs and risk assessments
  • handling human tissue specimens in compliance with local SOPs and Human Tissue Authority
  • assist with the organisation and execution of Medical Education activities. • Required to carry out any reasonable requests to perform other duties as may be required within the scope of the job title
