Responsibility


  • basically, ensure equipment is working properly

  • test method validation
  • hands on device testing
  • torque and Force test tool experience
  • medical or Pharmaceutical experience
  • collecting, reviewing, analysing and reporting of statistical data
  • reading, reviewing and complying with related SOPs and risk assessments
  • handling human tissue specimens in compliance with local SOPs and Human Tissue Authority
  • assist with the organisation and execution of Medical Education activities. • Required to carry out any reasonable requests to perform other duties as may be required within the scope of the job title

  • monitoring and supplying stock for labs, health and safety and presentation to ensure high quality environment for lab sessions
  • ensure that all cadaveric material is acquired, stored, used and disposed of in accordance with the codes of practice defined by the Human Tissue Authority
  • ensuring optimum specimen usage by harvesting parts wherever possible and ensuring traceability for further processing
  • to contribute to the development, growth, strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the Rosalind Franklin Laboratory
  • to deliver on key performance indicators, aiming for continuous improvement
  • to proactively promote excellence in Health and Safety, EDI and Safeguarding and to promote and support the well-being of all colleagues
  • to complete and remain up to date with all mandatory training, seeking continuous professional development where appropriate
  • to participate positively in the Rosalind Franklin Laboratory’s performance review scheme as updated from time to time
  • to actively promote the Rosalind Franklin Laboratory with agencies, partners, stakeholders, sector bodies, schools and the local community, developing effective partnerships with all bodies
