Responsibility

work with the Marketing team to plan and drive strategic initiatives, programmes, messaging, and campaigns within the region
follow up on in-bound leads with an aim to convert these into new booked business
build and maintain client relationship
responsible for ad-hoc enquiries which can involve some sea and air freight enquiries
dealing with both existing clients and prospects
working closely with sales department to ensure customer requirements are met
ensure CRM system is kept up to date
following through sales leads and negotiating with overseas agents and suppliers
effectively process all customer enquiries, quote and orders in accordance with company's procedures
developing strategies for increasing existing, new business and dormant accounts
placing orders with suppliers at the lowest cost, appropriate to quality with on-time delivery
dealing with and resolving any customer queries
maintaining and growing your customer base by selling the company’s wide range of products whilst delivering an unrivalled customer service
communicate/liaise and ensure the resolution for the customer on all matters relating to their contact with the company
developing relationships and encouraging repeat business
participate in meetings with Sales, Management and Customers as and when requested
occasionally visiting customers
assist in the development and implementation of a proactive order winning strategy
development and effective relationship with all members of staff to ensure excellent communication
this role will require a hard-working and likeable individual, who will grow relationships and offer exceptional levels of customer service to their customer base of electrical distributors
