Requirements


  • civil, Highways or Transportation Engineering, IT or Technology or Project Management based degree or equivalent
  • recent previous experience of project management in a multidisciplinary or transportation context, managing one or more capital projects
  • strong Communication skills
  • commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • strong Project Management experience is essential however previous Rail experience is not essential
  • hold a practitioner level qualification in Project Management or have experience that is sufficiently substantial and be willing to undertake formal project management training
  • proven track record in a premium setting
  • must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when dealing with customers
  • possess a drive to continuously develop your own career and others around you
  • find enjoyment in a KPI / sales driven environment
  • hold a keen interest in fashion and design alongside high-end service
  • previous experience in a retail management role, preferably in the fragrance or luxury goods industry
  • proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving results
  • strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibility


  • to ensure the smooth and continued operation of the tram system from March 2024
  • ensuring that the project has the correct governance and structure in place
  • ensure that emerging issues are proactively identified and addressed to keep the programme on track
  • undertake work to the agreed project management framework and management tools to drive projects to successful completion
  • manage progress and consistent delivery of projects aligned to the contractually agreed funding, outputs, and timescales for each project
  • produce, communicate, manage, and update project information through all project stages including but not exclusively; schedules, reports, risk plans, change and cost measures, monthly reporting, final accounts and forecasting
  • work closely with the Financial Project Manager for the successful financial management of the project including fees, construction, contingencies, and direct costs and ensure that costs are forecast accurately and timely
  • support the Concession Manager and being the 'go-to' person when you are the most senior Management Team member on shift
  • drive store performance to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • driving sales and exceeding targets through exceptional customer service and building a client business
  • drive store sales through innovative approaches and techniques, drive company initiatives on client sales and client acquisition strategies as required

  • proactively manage relationships with internal departments to help achieve store targets and improve efficiencies - merchandising, HR, IT
