  • knowledge of Local beers & Whisky’s
  • previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end hotel or independent Cocktail bar or Brasserie setting
  • possess excellent customer service skills and be able to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and grace
  • knowledge of the licensing Laws, regulations, and safe serving practises
  • able to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • possess Outstanding communication and organisational Skills

Responsibility

  • providing timely reports to the Head of Service Experience
  • ensuring that the experience of Residents and Members surpasses expectations of a high-profile brand
  • ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of The Other House, shaping, and delivering exceptional standards
  • provide Excellent Customer Service, ensuring guests are attended to all complaints are handled promptly and efficiently
  • support the recruitment process to fill vacancies through interview and trial assessment
  • train new staff on bar procedures, service standards, and various drink recipes
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness of the bar area in compliance with The Other House Brand Standards
  • create and implement an exciting drink menu in collaboration with the Bar Manager/House Manager
  • deliver Food and Beverage service of high standard and in accordance with departmental standards and procedure
  • training, motivating and inspiring the Bartenders and the Bar floor team
  • developing team through timely, open and honest feedback, conducting scheduled reviews and overseeing development plans
  • working in collaboration with the Brasserie Manager, including sharing and developing the team between the departments
  • full understanding of cocktail specs, wine and beer menus
  • ability to deliver consistent and high quality product
  • possesses strong attention to detail
  • strong communication and managerial skills to lead team
  • possess full understanding of Steps of Service in line with company standards
  • deliver exemplary service in line with our Steps of Service procedures
  • ability to complete stock takes and maintain stock controls
  • ability to multitask and perform a busy service solo
