Responsibility


  • support and contribute to Health & Safety Objectives
  • review and understand Test Requirement documentation
  • review and understand the product, its operation and key features
  • work closely with Engineering Team to ensure Design Intent of testing is achieved
  • prepare and commission test rigs
  • prepare test equipment for offsite tests
  • concept generation, detailed design & development, support qualification and production
  • current or past Approver or checker delegation is an advantage
  • update design specs to reflect changes as required
  • good knowledge of aerospace materials knowledge, standards & specifications
  • engineering activities in support of work to PDR for Wing/Empennage and boom aero structures
  • both metallic and composite capability required with mix of experience to perform check for Analysis
  • expertise in Hypersizer, HyperX is mandatory for composites design & optimization
  • provide evidence of design compliance with Technical specifications
  • ensure own quality of deliveries, verify, check and sign off on Program co-workers' engineering drawings
  • manage the execution of the work packages identified and ensure the convergence of the delivery plans with customer requirements
  • produce engineering schemes, models and drawings for components/assemblies in line with the requirements of the Programme
  • define integrated design solutions for new components/assemblies and modifications to existing components
  • prepare drawings and other engineering data required for the manufacturing of the product and data submittal to the customer
  • management of Supplier, internal and customer non-conformances to ensure part quality standards and production validity
