Requirements

reach truck qualification
previous warehouse experience would be an advantage
forklift certification and experience operating a forklift
forklift certification and experience operating a forklift is an advantage
experience working in a Builders Merchant
ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
good communication and organisational skills
attention to detail and accuracy
ability to work independently and as part of a team
knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
full clean driving licence
counter Balance Fork Lift Licence

B2 Counter Balance Licence
ideally experienced in either Modular or Offsite production
of a practical nature
physically fit

construction Background

Responsibility

collection of bulk product from cold store racking to point of use as advised by packing order
timely and accurate scanning and tipping of bulk product 1 ton box into packing line infeed hopper
full and accurate completion of packing line product tipping log
timely and accurate scanning and storing of packed product pallet into cold store racking as advised by packing order
timely and accurate storing of processed bulk product into racking as advised by the end of line allocation sheet
put away/scan back into location remaining bulk at end of packing order
removal, strap and store in Box Make Up area
assist as required with the removal of packed stock from racking to stand down location as advised by dispatch picking orders
assist as required in warehouse stock consolidation activities
assist as required in packing hall and process activities
maintain good work area housekeeping
