Responsibility

  • our Pump Rental branch in Great Yarmouth is looking for a Hire Controller to join the team
  • ensure that contracts, transport documentation and other paperwork are accurately input and up to date on to the applicable systems
  • negotiated hire rates in accordance with price lists and discount policy as advised from time to time
  • liaise with the appropriate internal teams, ensuring relevant equipment, transport and workforce are in place to cover depot & customer requirements
  • following Company procedures on pricing policy
  • ensuring we maximise the effectiveness of Service Engineers
  • handling all types of Sales and Hire enquiries
  • building customer relations ensuring excellent customer service
  • stock checking and product selection
  • equipment demonstrations and handovers of all products
  • loading and unloading of equipment
  • occasional onsite deliveries and collections requiring a Full Driving licence
  • working on the sales counter would involve responding to customer requirements. Understanding the customers needs to ensure correct product selection and availability. These tasks will include
