Requirements


  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car to get to work
  • experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or another professional setting
  • you will be compassionate, resilient and committed to being a positive role model
  • able to do overnight sleep-ins which are part of the role
  • NVQ level 3 in children's health and social care or equivalent or willing to work towards

  • confident in managing challenging behaviours
  • flexible, working a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods
  • applicants must hold a degree in social work or equivalent and
  • children’s home: 1 year
  • the candidate must have clean UK driving licence, and no criminal record. DBS checks will be conducted
  • the candidate should be familiar with driving in London
  • would suit someone from a healthcare background, in particular, someone with empathy and compassion surrounding mental health conditions
  • it would be a prerequisite of the role to enter into a confidentiality agreement with the client
