  • experience of managing a team, providing supervision and guidance
  • experience of assigning off assessments, including Care Act assessments, support plans and mental Capacity assessments
  • experience of chairing meetings
  • A good understanding of the current issues and themes related to social work with vulnerable adults
  • experience of working constructively in a multi-agency environment in order to provide Adults’ Services
  • must have a degree in social work/ qualification equivalent
  • must have Social Work experience
  • at least 1 year experience within a similar role
  • social Work England Registration
  • an accurate understanding of the role, function and accountabilities of a local authority duties defined in the Care Act and associated legislation Knowledge of the policy and legislative framework governing adult social care especially mental capacity assessments and deprivation of liberty best interest decisions as well as risk management and safeguarding
  • experience of leading a team
  • degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • recent NHS experience
  • registered with the HCPC
