you will have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and young people
be able to identify risks that impact on their well-being and safety
we are recruiting for a SWA on behalf of Hampshire covering the Fareham & Gosport area
experience of working with children, young people and families in a safeguarding environment
good verbal and written communication skills are desirable as is the ability to engage with children, families and professionals
literacy, numeracy and I.T. skills are essential part of the role
experience of working in a social work/social care environment
degree or equivalent in social work
knowledge of and experience of providing welfare benefits advice
current Social Work England registration
recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc
experience of undertaking assessments, planning and providing interventions, experience of working with older people and/or those with disabilities
excellent communication skills
